It took me a long time to realize the truth: Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. (romans 12:2 NLT) ...and then it took me even longer to realize that this is actually the case for many of us! We read it and pray it, but we don't know how to practically apply it and live it.

So I am here to help you out! Here is your Your Thought-life Makeover...


What does it practically look like to NOT copy the behaviors and patterns of those around me but to intentionally engage in daily practices that will allow me to change the way I think and reverse the unhealthy patterns I have become accustomed to?

Practical Tips:

  • Gratitude Journaling: Set aside a few minutes each day to write down things you're grateful for. Be specific and try to recall both big and small moments of gratitude.

  • Express Appreciation: Regularly express gratitude to the people around you. It could be a simple thank-you note, a text message, or even a verbal acknowledgment of their support or kindness.

  • Mindful Gratitude Practice: Incorporate mindfulness into your gratitude practice. Take a moment each day to truly savor and appreciate the things you're thankful for.
